4. Data Storage and Security

Free Users:

  • All invoice data is stored locally on your device only
  • No data is transmitted to our servers or cloud storage
  • Your data remains private and under your complete control
  • If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device

Premium Users:

  • Invoice data is stored locally on your device
  • When you subscribe to Premium, you can enable iCloud sync
  • With iCloud sync enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account controlled by Apple
  • We do not have access to your iCloud data
  • iCloud sync allows you to access your invoices across all your Apple devices
  • You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings

Security Measures:

  • We use industry-standard encryption to protect data in transit
  • Your iCloud data is encrypted using Apple's security protocols
  • Payment information is processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment processors
  • We do not store your credit card or payment details on our servers

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. iCloud Integration (Premium Feature)

When you subscribe to Premium and enable iCloud sync:

  • Your invoice data is synchronized to your personal iCloud account
  • Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to data stored in iCloud
  • We do not have access to data in your iCloud account
  • You control your iCloud data through your Apple ID settings
  • iCloud sync requires sufficient iCloud storage space
  • You can disable iCloud sync at any time without losing local data
  • If you downgrade from Premium to Free, iCloud sync will be disabled, but your local data remains intact

7. Subscription and Payment Information

In-App Purchases:

  • Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store
  • Apple handles all payment processing
  • We receive only confirmation of your subscription status
  • We do not have access to your payment method details
  • Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings

Payment Links (Premium Feature):

  • When you use payment links in invoices, payment processing is handled by third-party providers
  • Payment information is transmitted directly to the payment processor
  • We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data
  • Payment providers have their own privacy policies

8. Third-Party Services

InvoNow integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple iCloud: For data synchronization (Premium only)
  • Payment Processors: For payment link functionality (Premium only)
  • Analytics Services: For app improvement and crash reporting
  • Apple App Store: For subscription management

These services have their own privacy policies governing their data collection and use. We encourage you to review their policies.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access Your Data: View all invoices and business information stored in the app
  • Delete Your Data: Remove individual invoices or all data at any time
  • Export Your Data: Generate and save PDF copies of all your invoices
  • Control iCloud Sync: Enable or disable iCloud synchronization (Premium users)
  • Cancel Subscription: Downgrade from Premium to Free at any time through App Store settings

Data Portability:

All your invoices can be exported as PDF files at any time, allowing you to transfer your data to other applications or services.

10. Data Retention

Free Users:

  • Data is retained on your device until you manually delete it
  • Uninstalling the app permanently removes all local data

Premium Users:

  • Local data is retained on your device until you delete it
  • iCloud data is retained according to your Apple iCloud account settings
  • If you cancel your Premium subscription, iCloud sync stops but existing data remains in your iCloud
  • You can delete iCloud data through your device's iCloud settings

Account Data:

  • We retain subscription status information for accounting and support purposes
  • This data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to your invoice data

11. Children's Privacy

InvoNow is a business application not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information.

12. International Users

InvoNow is designed for users worldwide. If you use InvoNow outside your country of residence, please be aware that your data may be transferred to and processed in regions with different data protection laws.

For Premium users using iCloud sync, data is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure according to Apple's data residency policies.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.

How We Notify You:

  • Significant changes will be communicated through the app
  • We may send you an email notification if we have your email address
  • The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised
  • Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
